Time to reflect on the Learning Technologies Event…

Team Amphigean had a fantastic time at the 2023 Learning Technologies Event at London ExCel earlier this year and has recently taken time out to reflect on the show. From what we were told 2023 had more attendees than in any other year!

We really enjoyed meeting lots of L&D professionals so thank you to all those who came to see us.

Seminar

Event Highlights

Our Creative Director, Bryan, drew in the crowds at a webinar on Wednesday 3rd whilst co-presenting alongside our client Susan Roe, International Trade Specialist from The Institute of Export & International Trade.

The pair presented to a full audience of around 80 people about how we took a complex issue and made it simple.

The IOE&IT selected Amphigean as its digitisation partner at Learning technologies 2022 and since then has begun the journey to create self-serve digital versions of its renowned face-to-face workshops, enhancing the accessibility and global reach for those involved in international trade.

The 30-minute seminar talked attendees through the challenges and outcomes of this significant project to create engaging learning on highly complex rules and procedures faced by importers and exporters.

You can read more about this project in our recent Case Study here.

Seeing friendly faces

We were delighted to have visits to the stand from some of our ongoing partners including Carol McCarthy from SOLAS. SOLAS is the State agency in Ireland that oversees the building of a world class Further Education & Training (FET) sector, developing skills to fuel Ireland’s future.

Amphigean is supporting SOLAS on multiple projects including many micro-qualifications addressing diverse topics such as sustainability and digital business tools. We’re creating engaging materials for Education and Training Boards and colleges to use as part of programme delivery, including presentation slides, infographics, animated videos, and eworkbooks.

Fabiola Maues, from Ciena, was amongst many others who joined us to see what’s new and continue discussions on current projects.

Our Demo Station

This year we invested in a state of the art, purpose-built stand to really showcase our work. This included a large screen playing our ‘showreel’ which highlights some of the projects we’ve been involved in and our capabilities as a partner for your L&D needs.

We also had a new and improved ‘demo station’ where visitors to the stand could view and test some of our work – from gamification & interactive e-learning to infographics & animated video. It was a fantastic resource to be able to help showcase how we do what we do.

Being a completely bespoke Learning & Development partner, we work with you to find the perfect solutions to your problems.

We were delighted with the response we had and have some seriously exciting proposals in play to support new customers.

Everyone was talking about

It’s a hot topic, whether you’re sick of hearing about it or not, AI is making its way into the world of L&D and everyone was talking about it.

What is it?

How can it automate processes to be more efficient?

Will we lose our jobs to AI?

Thanks for a great event!

We hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did at the 2023 Learning Technologies Event and hope to see you again next year.

In the meantime, if you’d like to find out more about what we do, take a look around our website, or give our friendly team a call.
We’d be happy to discuss any challenges you’re facing to see how we can help!
