Amphigean has 20/20 vision following Learning Technologies 2019

It’s clear to see that Learning Technologies is the place to be when it comes to sharing world-class, innovative digital training ideas for the workplace. We were just one of over 200 exhibitors welcoming around 8,500 visitors to the show’s new venue, ExCeL London, and we are already signed up for 2020.

Apart from generating some high quality leads, the show also embedded our own learning. One of Amphigean’s strengths lies in producing short, sharp, animated videos for bite-sized learning, and this year’s Learning Technology show underlined its vitality and versatility as an effective learning tool that we should continue to develop.

As experts in turning complex training into simple workplace learning for all market sectors, we frequently use bite-sized learning content which is ‘snackable’ – i.e. a learner can digest it when they have a spare moment during their day. Providing it is varied, to meet all learning styles, micro-learning is extremely successful, and this is where video comes into major play. As well as providing access to all, the addition of audio means videos can work as a podcast for the visually impaired, whilst subtitles and animations aid those with hearing difficulties, or for whom English is a second language.

Of course videos can be extremely costly and time-consuming to produce, and depending upon the project and audience, it may well be necessary to outsource this work. However, in today’s digital world it is possible to produce DIY videos which are acceptable for day to day messages, perhaps for social media, or internal presentations. and learning programmes.

Our experience at Learning Technologies proved there is huge demand for video production. Lots of visitors actively sought out our stand, with many asking how we could support them to create videos, or train their teams to produce their own quality, animated videos in-house.

Our Creative Director Bryan Strange had a packed audience for his presentation – Agile Video Production with PowerPoint. We hope this opened a world of possibilities to those who weren’t aware of the creative capabilities of this common software most of us already have on our devices.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Learning Technologies. It was great to be there as a major player in the industry, showcasing what we can do and how we can help guide customers through the complex world of digital workplace learning.

See you there in 2020.
